I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ambro on April 19, 2022, he removed a calibre persistent labial artery from my lower lip that had been previously been misdiagnosed as a mucocele by a different doctor. Thus this surgery was both a scar revision and an excision of the protruding artery. This surgery was restorative in nature, and was covered by my health insurance. The results are so beautiful it truly is a miracle. the functionality of my lip has been fully restored, and the scar tissue has healed completely flat and razor thin. He lined up everything perfectly, and did a beautiful job. The aftercare was attentive and comprehensive as well. The only remaining scar is a razor-thin flat white line on the inside of my lip, on the mucosa, so that the outside of my lip looks completely normal. I am so thankful to no longer have a bump on my lip! This doctor is compassionate and highly skilled. I am so thankful for Annapolis Plastic Surgery for restoring my lip. Also, a word about the staff: the staff at Annapolis Plastic Surgery are courteous and kind. Nurse Practitioner Catherine is wonderful. Priscilla at the front desk is very helpful and kind.
